The problem

Fintech deals are not lost on product. They are lost in the vendor-risk thread.

Selling to a bank, a lender or a large merchant means a sales thread, a security thread, a legal thread and a procurement thread, each with its own people, running for months. The question that stops the deal is rarely about the product. It is the data-residency item nobody answered, the SOC report that went to the wrong person, the CFO's pricing question that got a deck instead of a number.

The vendor-risk review that stalled

Their third-party-risk team sent 140 questions. You answered 137. The three about data residency and subprocessors sit in message 23 of 58, addressed to an engineer who thought legal had it. The review has been "in progress" for a month because of them.

The pricing question that got a deck

The CFO asked for the interchange and scheme-fee breakdown on their volumes. They got the pricing presentation. The thread has been quiet for six days, and the quiet is not "evaluating". It is a spreadsheet they built themselves, from a competitor's answer.

The single champion in innovation

One sponsor in the innovation team, enthusiastic and well-connected, and nobody in operations, risk or the business line. When the innovation budget was cut, so was the deal. Nobody had asked who else was on the thread.

The AI tool your own compliance said no to

You are a regulated company, or you sell to one. Every conversation-intelligence product your team evaluated sends customer correspondence to a shared cloud model, and the answer from your own compliance team was the one your customers give you: no.

What the account executive gets

The thread, read the way your best enterprise seller would read it.

Clossara reads each deal's full email history against your pipeline and writes a short diagnosis. Every line points at the message it came from. What the model cannot support, it does not show.

Diagnose

Why is this deal stalling? The root cause and the signals behind it: a questionnaire item left open, a pricing question answered with a deck, a single sponsor, a counterparty who went quiet after legal joined, each cited to the message.

live every claim cited

Forecast

Will it close this quarter, and how confident is that, from the conversation rather than the pipeline stage. A board-ready forecast that says what the threads say. A thread with too little signal says so instead of guessing.

live with a stated confidence

Draft, for review

A reply that answers what risk, legal or the CFO actually asked, in your house tone. Any fee, rate, SLA figure or date that is not in the thread or your documents is flagged before it becomes a promise. You review and send from your own mailbox.

How it works

Connected in an afternoon. No change to how the team sells.

STEP 1

Connect, read-only

Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 with read-only permission, and your CRM. No mailbox yet? Import threads as .eml files and start with closed deals.

STEP 2

Redact

Names, addresses and identifiers are replaced by labels before any text reaches the model. The Portal puts the names back for your team; the model never holds them.

STEP 3

Read and rank

Clossara's own model reads every thread against the pipeline and writes the diagnosis, the forecast and the drafts. It reads your data; it never trains on it.

STEP 4

Work the board

Account executives open the Deal Health board and see which deals are at risk, why, and what to send. New conversations are read as they arrive.

Built for a regulated vendor

What your review will ask, and the answer.

You run vendor reviews on others and get them run on you. These are the questions compliance, security and outsourcing reviewers at fintechs have asked us. The answers are what is in place, not a roadmap.

Your requirementHow Clossara meets it
Customer correspondence stays in our jurisdictionThe Portal and a dedicated instance are hosted in the EU. For a company that may not use a cloud vendor for this at all, the Clossara Box runs the whole product on your own network.
No correspondence to a third-party AIClossara's own model, no third-party LLM at runtime. In the cloud it runs on servers Clossara operates and sees redacted text only; on the box it runs on your hardware. That is the answer you can forward to your own customers' reviewers.
Confidentiality of counterparties and termsNames, addresses and identifiers are replaced by labels before any text reaches the model. The Portal puts the names back for your team; the model never holds them and stores nothing.
No use of our data for trainingNever. Not in the cloud, not on the box. The model is trained on Clossara's own development data and ships as a gated release; it reads your threads, it does not learn from them.
Can we check what it says?Every finding cites the message it came from; a finding without a citation is not shown. Each release is measured on a fixed held-out set and the report is available to your reviewers.
Least privilege on mailboxesRead-only mailbox permissions (Gmail gmail.readonly, Microsoft 365 Mail.Read). Clossara cannot send, delete or modify mail. Drafts are copied and sent by a person.
Access control and auditEnterprise adds audit logging and an SLA; SSO and SCIM are coming soon. Every stored analysis is traceable to the thread and the release that produced it.
Outsourcing and DORA questionnairesWe complete your security questionnaire as part of the review and provide the DPA and subprocessor list, so Clossara fits into your own register of ICT third-party providers. On the box there is no processing outside your company to register.
Independent certificationin progress. We say so rather than imply it. Ask for the current status.

Details, data flows and retention are on the security page. Nothing here is specific to financial regulation; it is what the product does.

Measured

A number you can put in the vendor file.

Every release is judged on 176 held-out sales threads it has never seen, finding by finding, against the full conversation. The current release:

86%

of the findings an account executive sees were judged true against the thread. What the model cannot support, it hides.

100%

of citations point at a real message. The reviewer can open the message behind every claim.

0

invented numbers in the gated release. A fee, rate or date not found in the thread or your documents is flagged for review.

November 2026 release. The four-page evaluation report is sent with every briefing.

Three ways to run it

From one enterprise team to the whole company.

Portal, per seat

For an enterprise sales team or a partnerships team that wants to start this quarter. Hosted in the EU, redacted before the model, per seat and per month. Import last year's closed deals as .eml files and check the model against what happened before anyone connects a mailbox.

  • Intelligence, Forecast or Complete plan
  • Team workspace from three seats
  • Free trial at launch

Dedicated instance, or the Clossara Box

For a licensed institution or a company with its own outsourcing register. Enterprise gives you an isolated application and database in the EU with audit logging and an SLA. The Box puts the whole product, model included, on your own network with no outbound connection.

  • Dedicated success manager, custom integrations and API
  • Nothing leaves the building on the Box, ever
  • Add boxes as the team grows

FAQ

What fintech sales and compliance leads ask first.

We are regulated ourselves. Does this count as outsourcing?

On the Portal or a dedicated instance, Clossara processes redacted correspondence on your behalf, and we give you the DPA, subprocessor list and completed questionnaire your register needs. On the Clossara Box there is no processing outside your company, and nothing to register. Your compliance team decides which one fits; we support both.

Does the model learn from our customers' correspondence?

No. Clossara's model is trained on Clossara's own development data and shipped as a gated release. It reads your threads; it never trains on them, in the cloud or on the box. That is in the terms, not only on this page.

Our deals have four parallel threads. Can it follow them?

It reads every thread in the connected mailboxes and links them to the deal in your CRM, so the security thread, the legal thread and the commercial thread count as one conversation. The open question in the vendor-risk thread shows up on the same deal as the pricing question in the commercial one.

Does it understand payments, lending or banking software?

It understands conversations. A partnership, an integration and a licence renewal stall for the same reasons: a question nobody answered, a date that slipped, a sponsor who went quiet. The model will not model your unit economics. It will tell you the CFO is still waiting for the interchange breakdown.

Can we test it on closed deals before connecting a mailbox?

Yes. Import a set of deals whose outcome you already know as .eml files from a mailbox export, won and lost, and compare what Clossara says with what happened. That is the fastest honest pilot, and it needs no mailbox connection.

Who are you, and how big is Clossara?

A small team that builds and trains its own model. We would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise, and it is why the box exists: a regulated company should not have to trust a vendor's operations when it can keep the whole thing inside.
